ACADEMIC
DEPARTMENTS
Besides
the development of Godly character, the primary
focus of our school is the academic program. We are a school
that provides the programs and courses necessary to prepare
students for university. Consequently, there are many academic
options in the senior grades and a minimal number of less
academic courses for secondary students

Grades 6 - 8
All of the Middle School students will be enrolled in the
same courses throughout their Middle School years. Students
in grades 6 – 8 are all required to complete all Core courses
for the ministry, which include Mathematics, English, Social
Studies, Science, and French. Because Music is fundamental
to worship, all students must be enrolled in music through
their Middle School years. In grade 6, all students learn
the fundamentals of music through a “beginning Band“ program.
In grades 7 & 8, the students will participate in both
Band and Choir during these years.
Besides the Core courses and Music, all students participate
in Physical Education, Bible, Computer, and Art. The number
of classes per 7 day cycle varies dependent on the grade
and course.
